On September 21, 2005 the Emily Davis Memorial Scolarship Foundation celebrated the life and spirit of Emily Davis with a golf outing at Fairway Hills Golf Club and a dinner that was held at Centennial High School.The celebration marked the culmination of the Foundation's start up fund raising efforts. The four months leading up to this day were filled with hard work by enthusiastic family, friends and community members that all helped to raise funds to create the basis for an enduring scholarship fund.
For golf, the weather was heaven sent with sunshine and temeratures in the mid-70's. The dinner event was highlighted with fabulous decorations, excellent food, fellowship, exciting auction events and a memorium video of Emily. All of the individual & corporate support and donations have exceeded expectation and will ensure that Emily's Scholarship fund will be available for decades to come.
