♥ The Emily Davis Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc now dedicates its support to families of children who are visiting the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryand. This is done by contributing to a nurses descretionary fund, established by Emily's Foundation. Nurses are the primary care providers for kids with cancer and in turn in many respects their families. The battle withcancer takes time and families are visiting the Clinic for months and in many cases years. Nurses can identify a family's need when they are in need or just when they need a little comfort or distraction. In 2016 we were able to donate $5,000. This marked the retirement of Colleen Blough the foundation of the Clinic's nursing care who spent her career, her life helping Emily and so many other children and their families. We are striving to meet or exceed this donation level every year going forward. Help us if you can ♥
